BRUCE McNEIL INTERVIEW - PRE MATCH v EDINBURGH ACCIES ON APRIL 29th

vimeo.com/215007807

D-Day on Saturday for Hawick Rugby Club as they prepare to take on Edinburgh Accies in a play-off match which will decide who plays in the BT Premiership next season. Gala are already relegated out of the top flight, which was a big blow to Borders Rugby, but by finishing second bottom in the table, the Greens now face the city side who ended their season in second spot in National League 1.

The game is being played at Lasswade and as well as having financial implications, it's vital that Hawick do everything in their power to stay in the top division in Scottish Club Rugby.
The balance favours Edinburgh Accies who have been playing competitive rugby for many weeks. Hawick have only had one competitive game in seven weeks so preparations for this have been difficult.

Hawick skipper Bruce McNeil agrees though that you write off the Greens at your peril!
